Writing Table
Oregon Myrtle

This design is based on a table I saw in Japan a few years ago. At 12" high, it is a comfortable level for reading and writing when seated on the floor. The large table surface allows you to spread out a little. The prismatic effect of the figured myrtle top is spectacular -- as you walk around, the grain appears to change. The base is of straight-grained myrtle wood from another tree.
