The top of this kneeling stool is sloped to take stress away from the knees, balance the spine
over the sitting bones, and the head over the spine.
The
figured pear wood is from an old orchard tree in Switzerland or Germany
(the buyer couldn't remember which). One of the nicest woods I have
worked with so far.
